Part 4 of 5 from the great interview between Eben Pagan and Frank Kern up on Kern’s blog
Eben says (paraphrased):
“We have a responsibility to beat the Crooked Televangelists…they are everywhere…”
And they are out to get YOU and your customers.
Ever seen that Crooked Televangelist on TV? “Gawwd says, send me your Money” (and I’ll offer no value in return)”. They are in every niche; they suck money from people and offer nothing of real value. This is our competition.
Reminds me of the farting preacher.
Eben (paraphrased): “we need to use every persuasive technique we can, as we need to beat the crooked televangelist as we are the ones delivering the real value.”
Among those techniques are “stacking the cool” and “the Death Grip”, covered in part 5
But I wonder: where does the line cross the unethical or unreasonable? Jason Moffat has an interesting discussion on faking it till you make it is a bad thing.
What do you think?

Great notes, massive time saver. Thanks very much. Will see what else you’ve had to say about others in the internet marketing sphere. Not enough honesty in this world. thanks again.
Hey Andrew, thanks!
If there’s anybody in particular you want me to take a look at let me know.
I am working on one for google cash detective which is relaunching shortly, and definately needs the hype cut out of it.
