Cool Directory of Big Twitter Users

by TroyNotes on May 25, 2009

Ever wonder who’s who in the twitter universe?  Here’s a cool directory of twitter users.

http://wefollow.com/

I wonder what the secondary mover factor is. Like we know Ashton Kutcher has a gazillion followers, but what is the second degree of connectivity, are the all 150 or are there also 1Million plus people following? Who’s got the biggest tribe of biggies?

It’s also interesting to see a head to head war on who’s got the most following.

From a marketing perspective, this could be used to mirror who’s doing well and see what they are posting and emulate that.   Of course once successful, life may be less work inspired, and revolve around just being human.

Hey Troy! Thanks for sharing this useful link for twitter users.

Although there are a few offering the same thing, I could say this one looks very competitive.

Kevin Rose definitely did well in this project similar to what he did with Digg.

It is nice that you can place categories that you’d like to be listed under, although it is limited to just three which purpose I assume is to avoid clutter in the directory.

It is organized and clean. And in a short period of time, one can earn a lot of followers (say a thousand in a week or 2?).

It will increase number of followers yet one should also know how to use it for their specific needs. It will definitely help newbie marketers use twitter and determine those who are worth following and in your words– emulating.
